Welcome to our tour operator or travel agency website. We are committed to providing you with a safe, enjoyable, and personalized travel experience. Please read our booking terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation.
How to Book To book a tour or holiday, kindly fill out the “Request for a quote” online form, Book the 30 Min Free travel consultation or contact us using the WhatsApp chat button. If you’re interested in booking a Safari/holiday advertised on our website, please include it in your inquiry. You can also contact us by email or phone as listed on our contact us page.
Reservations/Deposit: Unless otherwise stated, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable 21 days before the travel date for local travel and 30 days before the travel date for international travel.
Cost Our packages are inclusive of accommodation, transport, park fees, meals, and transfers according to the itinerary. The cost does not include International flights (unless stated on the package) tips, laundry, excess luggage, or any other activities not included in the package.
Payments: Amounts quoted are net and include taxes payable. Payments can be made via Bank transfer, Mpesa, or Paypal, or any other agreed mode of payment.
Alterations: The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which case, an equitable amount will be refunded. Prices are based on tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of reservation and are subject to change without notice.
Where necessary, the company reserves the right to substitute hotels of comparable status, means of transport, or changes in the itinerary if necessary due to adverse weather conditions, disruption to airline schedules, or any other valid reason.
Cancellations: Intention for cancellation must be communicated in writing, and reasonable notice issued. Different hotels have different cancellation and refund policies, and any payments made before cancellation shall be refunded subject to the said policies and our cancellation policy below.
Our cancellation and refund policy:
- 60 days – $50 administration fees
- 30 days – 25% of the cost
- 14 days or no show – no refund
Emergency Evacuation: Air ambulance service for emergency evacuations is recommended in the event of an accident or need for emergency treatment while on safari. Amref Flying Doctors offer the service at $25 per person.
Security: Clients are advised to make use of the Safe deposit boxes in their rooms for their valuables, monies, and jewellery. Crowded streets or walking alone in unfamiliar areas should be avoided. Before taking photos of people, consent should be obtained.
Liability: While necessary precautions are taken to ensure clients’ health and safety, Tranquil Expeditions and Wellness Retreats shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind, acts of terrorism, or natural calamities. The company shall not be liable for the loss of luggage during travel. Passengers on flights are advised to read the limitations on the liability of the airlines at the back of the air ticket.
The company has the right to subcontract the services agreed on wholly or partially and this shall be subject to the liability clause. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arise.
